April 22nd 1921. 

Dear Friends:

I am sorry to be a day late in writing, but even now I can only dictate a few words from bed, as I am in the middle of a sharp attack 
of influenza. 

My heartiest congratulations to Professor on the birth of his new 
grandson, the first Freud grandchild.

There is no urgent news from here. Kegan Paul have decided not to 
appeal against the Lord Mayor’s sentence, I don’t know why.
