You must not believe in the rumour 
about Ferenczi. I got a letter from 
him dated April 27^th and dont 
think, D^r M. could have later 
news in England. He does not seem 
to be very reliable. If something had 
happened, I ought to know it here.

– Surprised today by your sendings, you 
really must drop remembering this day 
(to‑morrow) which is likely soon to recede 
before another more final date.
