Ich hoffe, der Druck der 
Übersetzung meiner neuen 
Vorlesungen ist nicht so 
weit vorgeschritten, dass 
er nicht die Correctur 
eines Irrtums gestatten 
würde.

Auf S 227 in der letzten 
Vorlesung zitiere ich 
eine brühmte Äusserung 
Kant’s.  Aber dies Zitat 
ist falsch und thut dem Philo-
sophen Unrecht. Ich werde 
mir den richtigen Wort-
laut verschaffen und 
Ihnen in einigen Tagen 
eine andere Fassung 
dieser Stelle zum Gebrauch 
des Übersetzers ein-
schicken. Dank!

 hope that the printing of the translation of my new Vorlesungen is not so far advanced that the correction of an error could not be permitted. 
On p. 227 of the last Vorlesung I quote a famous dictum by Kant. But this quotation is wrong and does the philosopher an injustice  I will obtain the right wording and in a few days will send you a different version of this passage for the use of your translator. Thanks!
