Dear Professor Freud,
«IP4,0»Would you kindly return Putnam's letters including the one to Mensendieck,«FN1.××Otto Mensendieck (b.1871), Ph.D., member of the Zurich Psychoanalytic Society.
» as I want to answer him at once; you see he is wobbling.
I shall try to get to Berlin, and shall certainly come either there or Vienna. I am not sure yet about the dates.
I rejoiced at your splendid news about Jung, who evidently over‑reached himself by not making sure of Deuticke in his haste. We have an English proverb that may apply to him in relation to the Vereinigung«MDUL»«MDNM», as well as in other ways: "Give a dog a long enough rope, and he will hang himself".
Yours as always Jones.
