Dear Professor,

«IP4,0»Presumably you are some time back from Berlin where I hope the visit proved very successful in procuring greater comfort for you.  I wonder what your summer plans are!  Will it be Berchtesgaden again?  The baby ties us this year to this country and I shall spend a quiet month in Sussex.

I should like to send you a copy of an interesting book called "«MDUL»The Story of San Michele«MDNM»" by Dr. Axel Munthe,«FN1.××Axel M. F. Munthe (1857‑1949), Swedish physician and writer; practised in Paris and Rome, wrote «MDUL»The Story of San Michelle«MDNM» (London: J. Murray, 1929).

» but as I think it very likely that you already have it I should ask you first.  The description of life in Paris under Charcot would be particularly interesting to you, and altogether the author's personality is one of unusual interest.  So far as I can estimate he seems to have been about two years after you in Paris.

We are all well here, the baby in particular.  The session of the Society is drawing to a succesful close.

With kindest regards to you all,  Yours always,  Ernest Jones
