Dear Professor,
I am glad to say that my children are going on satisfactorily but I shall not like to be away from them long even in a fortnight's time. The train service also is not so convenient as I could wish and so I am afraid I shall have to limit my stay in Vienna to three nights and two days, arriving on Wednesday evening, May 5th, and leaving on the Saturday morning.
In these circumstances would it be possible for you to arrange the Committee Meeting for some time on the Friday for I suppose Thursday will be taken up socially?
With kindest regards, Yours always, [Ernest Jones]«FN1.××Not Jones's signature, but signed "Ernest Jones" and initialed by secretary.»
