Dear Professor,

Your letter must have crossed one from me in which I gave the good news that my children are progressing most satisfactorily.  I hope to take them to the country before I leave for abroad so that they may have a fortnight there before resuming school.  Thank‑you for your kind enquiries.

I am altering the travelling time, as you suggest, and shall arrive at the Regina late Tuesday night, the 4th, leaving again on the Saturday morning.

With all good wishes,  Yours affectionately,  [Ernest Jones]«FN1.××Not Jones's signature, but signed "Ernest Jones" and initialed by secretary.»
