INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF PSYCHO‑ANALYSIS

                                 11 March 1921  London W1

Dear Professor:

«IP4,0»The points in your postcard of Feb. 26th were answered in my letter of Feb. 23rd, which crossed it.  I hope you will find time to instruct me about the «MDUL»Journal«MDNM» questions I asked.  Eder is just returning to Palestine for a few months and has not yet decided whether to stay there or return to London.  His wife would like to come to you as soon as possible for analysis till the end of your summer session, and they have asked me to write to you on their behalf and find out if you can take her.  They are in very serious financial straits and any money would be a hard sacrifice, so will you forgive me if I ask whether it would be possible for you to take her for one guinea instead of two.  As you know, she is much the more intelligent of the two and is a valuable person, though I do not know how she is going to solve her marriage conflict.  We should be grateful if you would kindly telegraph on getting this, as they wish to make arrangements before he departs for Palestine.

One of our associate members (whose name I am not sure of, since he has recently joined) wishes to come to you for analysis next autumn.  He has a good appearance.  I advised him to write to you now, so as [to] secure a place in good time.

I have written to Bernays asking him to send money to L & K instead of to Amsterdam, as I have no account there (except in my wife's name).

With kindest regards  yours always  E. J.«FN1.××Jones's initials are enclosed by a semi‑circle.»
