Dear Professor,
«IP4,0»Thank you very much for your congratulations about my boy. You remember his name correctly but we always call him by his Welsh name Mervyn. He will come to Switzerland with his Mother and myself in August but I shall leave them in Zürich during my short visit to Vienna. His relatives will not be in Vienna at that time of year and we have the intention of taking both him and his little sister for a week's visit to Vienna next Easter.
I was dreadfully sorry to hear about Frau Zweig's death. I saw during Martin's illness what a valuable and competent person she was and am sure that he will miss her very seriously.
I hope you are getting some amusement out of the current correspondence between Anna and myself in dealing with this truly embarrassing situation of the surplus of Congress papers.«FN1.××13th Congress of the International Psychoanalytic Association, Luzerne, Switzerland, 26‑31 August 1934.» It is at all events gratifying to see how much scientific activity is proceeding still in these troublous times.
With my kindest regards Yours always Ernest Jones
