Dear Professor

I have ordered the Russell book and will bring it with me if it has appeared before I leave.[1]  Eitingon and I will come to Semmering on Sunday, Sept. 4, (Hotel Südbahn) and are greatly looking forward to the pleasure of seeing you.

The Americans threaten a secession from the Association, but I hope we shall be able to manage them at the Congress.

Yours affectionately  Ernest Jones
